In previous posts, I’ve covered topics like: foods you must eat and foods you must not eat. Today, I’m going to cover 5 foods you should never eat to lose belly fat.
These all make sense, right? I covered simple carbs in a previous post. The main idea is that simple carbs wreak havoc on your blood sugar levels and only leave you feeling tired and hungry. There are much better choices you can make.
I haven’t covered this topic yet, but there are good fats and bad fats. Some fats to avoid are hydrogenated oils, canola oil, vegetable oil and margarine. Not all fats are bad; however, and some fats can actually help you to acheive your goal of losing belly fat. You just have to educate yourself and then make the right choices.
Processed foods are easy, but they’re bad for you. They often contains lots of sugar and chemicals that make it almost impossible for you to lose belly fat. The reason being that eating processed foods forces the liver to focus on one of it’s primary roles of filtering harmful substances. When constantly being overworked filtering out the chemicals from processed foods, the liver is no longer efficient at performing it’s other primary task of breaking down fat. That’s not the scenario that you’re looking for when your goal is to lose belly fat.
A lot of foods pass themselves off as “diet foods”, because they have reduced sugar and reduced calories. Those same foods are loaded with artificial sweeteners that are actually causing you to gain belly fat. Stay away from foods containing artificial sweeteners, whether they claim to be “healthy” or not.
So, there’s the list of 5 foods you should never eat to lose belly fat. Eliminating these foods from your diet will have a huge impact on your health and wellness.
